Our Mission proudly serves Peoria and the Lord in helping the needy of our area.

We offer over 40 programs for the needy of the Peoria area, and all are gospel centered and designed to meet specific needs.  Last year, we helped more than 10,000 people and saw more than 1,000 accept Christ as Savior!

Our Shelter for the homeless women and children have a goal to place them in a church home, see them employed, and find a place to live without assistance.

Our Benevolence Center provides free food, clothing furniture, housewares and appliances for the poor.  Last month this program helped over 1,000 people.

The After School Program includes tutoring, a Girls & Boys Clubs, and even includes a College Club that turn out a first generation college students.

Our Camp Kearney is one week of free camping for kids to enjoy swimming, canoeing, hiking and learning more about Jesus.

Kings Kids Child Care Center is for kids 2-K is for homeless or low income mothers can work and is a cost based program.

Our Zip Code (61605) Outreach program covers 108 blocks of the city and includes 26 churches who partner in bi-weekly envangelism. This program provided before school prayer time and even home repairs for those in need.

24 Times a week our Chapel service provides messages of hope to our cities needy.  A free meal is provided and the only requirement is to hear a 15 minute gospel message.

Many more programs are offered....too many to mention in this space Calvary has be so kind to allow,... but the bottom line is that Southside Mission is in the Lord's business, and strives to serve Him by preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ to the needy, and all those He sends to us for help.
